Why is Breakfast the most important meal of the day? -Eating breakfast like a king!

 The person who told us to "eat breakfast like a king" was either lying or didn't get a chance to explain.🤔So I'm going to speak on their behalf. LOL⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But first Food FACTS about apples: Apples are rich in fiber, flavonoids and are loaded with antioxidants. These antioxidants play a role in reducing the risk of heart disease, cancer, and other ailments. In fact, apples were ranked first in Medical News Today's featured article about the top 10 healthy foods.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I'm sure that eating breakfast like a king means eating more nutritiously and not necessarily more in amounts. Based on my years of delving deeper into nutrition, I recommend starting light when you wake up. This allows your digestive system to work steadily and not overwork. Leaving you with more energy.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here's the order:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. A glass of water - room temperature or warm, and preferably with lemon.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. fresh fruit - apples, as seen in the above post, however, if you don't have apples, any fruit is better than none.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. a bowl of oatmeal or a trusted brand high fiber, low sugar cereal. (Stay away from, highly processed, high Sugar and GMO used brands like Kellogs and General mills)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. A slice of whole-grain/gluten-free bread (NOT whole wheat but whole grain)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tips for eating bread - avoid white bread, and high Sugar spreads like jelly and Nutella. And if you need to shed weight, avoid bread altogether. Replace with sweet potatoes or quinoa.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
